Holiday Fun with BTD

During the 2023 holiday season, we initiated our inaugural gift wrapping fundraiser, and it was a delightful experience. Serving the community and sharing the festive spirit brought immense joy! Thanks to the generous support, we successfully raised over $800, directly contributing to scholarships for Spring 2024 applicants. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our dedicated volunteers, whose enthusiasm and hard work were pivotal in making this event a resounding success. Their commitment to spreading holiday cheer truly made a difference.

Welcome our 2023 Award winners as they begin to make a difference in their college communities.

Meet Ratajah Dawson

Ratajah graduated from Vero Beach High School in May 2023 as a CNA and President of the African American Student Counsel. Ratajah will be attending FIU in Summer 2023 where she will major in Finance and Social Work. She ultimately plans to become an accountant with the goal of helping young children in her community.

Meet Elizabeth De Schouwer

Elizabeth graduated from Vero Beach High School in May 2023 as the Student Body President and the number 9 ranked student in her graduating class of 600+. Elizabeth will be attending University of California San Diego in the Fall of 2023 where she will major in Biotechnology. She aspires to become a geneticist and begin her own biopharmaceutical company upon completing college.
