The R. Morgan Leadership Award is named after former Vero Beach High School Girls’ basketball coach Rahshard Morgan. The scholarship is designed to offer college financial assistance to seniors who exemplify the leadership values that Coach Morgan instills in all those he comes into contact with: accountability, communication, emotional intelligence, innovation, integrity, and resilience. To be considered for a scholarship, students must submit a formal application to the organization, be enrolled at Vero Beach High School, complete an essay, and be accepted/have pending acceptance into a college or university.
